Lois A. Wedekind, 64, of Arlington Washington, unexpectedly
passed away July 7th ,2021. She was surrounded by family
members and loved ones.
Lois was born in Arlington Washington on January 4th, 1957, the
daughter of late Gordon and Marguerite Herz.
Lois had recently retired from a long career working for Skagit
County Assessor’s office and loved being outdoors and
spending time with friends and family. She was a huge animal
lover and was often found doting on any animal that crossed
her path. She had a very kind heart and was always willing to
lend a hand to help or an ear to listen. She had a zest for what
the future held, from being able to travel and enjoy time with
friends to spoiling her grandchildren.
Lois is survived by 2 children, Gina Mattern and Michael
Graham; son and daughter in law, Clay Mattern and Tricia
Graham; 5 grandchildren, Caleb Mattern, Maggie Mattern,
Karter Graham, Bailey Graham and Brennan Wilson; 6 siblings
Joy, Sue, Jeanette, Gordy, Rita and Paul.
A service will be held on Sunday July 18th, 2021, at the
Stillaguamish Museum’s Pioneer Hall, located at 20722 67th Ave.
NE Arlington WA 98223 at 2:00 pm
