Donna Jean Hilliard Koths
July 24, 1955 – February 25, 2024
Donna Koths age 68 of Marysville, Washington passed away Sunday February 25, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 24, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Wilbur Lee Hilliard and Erma Jean Claxton Hilliard. She met her future husband at the age of 13 as friends developing into a serious relationship and marriage 5 years later in 1974. She raised three children and once they were in school full-time, went to work for the Fluke Corporation. She worked as an assembly technician on the 77 multimeter line and later as an expeditor until she retired in 2004 after being diagnosed with cancer. Donna miraculously survived cancer and was pronounced cancer-free in 2011.
Donna’s hobbies were varied from beading, crocheting, knitting and reading. She was actively involved supporting Boy Scout Troop 80. In her later years she traveled the
country with her husband reconnecting with family and friends seeing cities, national parks, landmarks, and historical areas.
Donna is survived by her husband of 50 years, Peter Koths. Three sons Shawn (Sabrina) of Stanwood, Washington, Eric (Whitney) of Arlington, Washington and Brian (Cassie) of Port Angeles, Washington. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Dylan, Alexis, Kaeden, Kinsley and Lex (Alexander).
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Rhonda, many relatives and friends.
In lieu of a memorial service, a celebration of life will be held at a future date (TBD).
