Carol Lee Kane was born May 23, 1939 in Seattle, WA. She passed peacefully in her sleep at home on October 26, 2018 after a year-long and courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her three daughters, Debbie (Keith Honsberger), Karen (Kevin McCoy) and Lori (Pat Thompson), her grandchildren Trevor, Tracie (Jerid Paige), Charlie, Tom, Dan and Joe, a great granddaughter on the way, her brother Don Roberts (Christie), and, many extended family members and friends. Carol attended Ballard High School and spent most of her adult life as an insurance underwriter for various insurance companies and, she retired after 17 years with Nationwide. Carol was a woman of extreme pride, compassion, faith, generosity and love. She treated all whom she met with dignity and true friendship. She set an example for all, especially her daughters, to work hard, be kind, love fully and smile always. Her contagious, beautiful smile will live forever in all of us. We will miss her deeply but will hold her close in our hearts through all the terrific memories she allowed us to experience and share. There will be a Celebration of Life for Carol on November 25, 2018 at McMenimans Anderson School, Haynes Hall, in Bothell from 1:30 – 3:30 pm.
