Gerald Patrick Hebert, 73 of Arlington, WA passed away at his home on November 28th, 2023 with his wife by his side after battling leukemia this last year.

Gerald also known by many as Jerry was born on June 18th, 1950 to Robert and Pearl Hebert in Everett Washington.

Gerald Graduated from Everett High School in 1968. After Graduation he pursued different things such as being a mechanic and working as a mill worker. He eventually settled into a career at the Everett Senior Center as the Program Manager. During his career at the Senior Center, he furthered his education by attending Edmonds Community College and receiving his BA in Gerontology. He retired after 34yrs of service for the City of Everett.

When Jerry retired, he had more time to pursue his hobbies and spend time with his family. Such as working on his corvette, racing, rebuilding anything, creating yard art for his grandchildren’s amusement and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Jerry loved to make people laugh and was extremely handy and could fix or build just about anything. He loved his family and after retirement was able to be the best Grandpa to his eight grandchildren. Gerald was predeceased by his parents Robert and Pearl Hebert, Brothers Dale and Lyle
Hebert.

He is survived by his wife Becky Hebert; brother Alan Hebert and sister Mary Tilley; Children: Kimberly Hebert (Mike Haggens), Mitchell Wright (Karyn Wright) and Janiece Mealey (Jim Mealey); eight grandchildren, Caleb Wright, Dakoda Vantol, Alexa Wright, Chloe Wright, Jayden Haggens, Gavin Haggens, Liam Mealey, Harrison Mealey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bryant Community Church, 26830 53rd Ave NE, Arlington, WA 98223 on April 6th , 2024 at 2pm. Look forward to seeing all who knew Jerry and to hear any stories you shared together.
