Our family lost a bright ray of sunshine. Jennifer Lyn Roggenkamp (Jeffries) passed away on March 2, 2020 at the age of 49 in Bothell, Washington.
Jennifer (Jenny) was born July 12, 1970 in Edmonds Washington. She graduated from Sultan High School in 1988 and not long after, met the love of her life, Kevin Roggenkamp. They married August 28th 1993. Their beautiful daughter Kelly Lyn Roggenkamp was born May 19, 2001. Jenny loved caring for her family and friends, camping in their RV, hosting special birthday parties for Kelly, cooking delicious food, welcoming friends over and treating them like family. Jenny was outgoing, and so fun to be around and made everyone feel at ease. Her house was always full of neighborhood kids who enjoyed eating her treats and loved playing in her backyard on the trampoline or in the pool she would set up every summer. As Kelly got older, her friends still always felt at home in Jenny’s presence. When Jenny walked into a room it would light up with her humor, infectious laugh, smile and bright blue eyes. She was a generous soul and was always up for a laugh and an adventure.
Jenny is survived by her husband Kevin Roggenkamp, their daughter Kelly of Bothell, Washington, her parents, Linda and Mike Jeffries, her brother Joe Jeffries, all of Monroe, Washington, her grandmother Faye O. Kennedy of Colville, Washington, her mother-in-law Betty Roggenkamp of Bothell and many aunts cousins, and friends who will miss her so much. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ruth and Harry Jeffries of Monroe, Washington, her grandfather, Bill Kennedy of Colville, Washington, her father-in-law Jack Roggenkamp of Bothell, Washington and her uncle Clyde Kennedy of Evans, Washington.
It’s truly hard to imagine a sunny day without Jenny’s bright smile and warm heart in it. We are all so lucky to have known and loved such a beautiful person. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
