Jeromy Tyler, a talented artist and self-taught guitarist, known for his remarkable gift in bringing images to life through pencil and paper and his ability to play music by ear, passed away at the age of 47 on February 8, 2024, after bravely battling cancer.
Jeromy’s passion for art and music was evident to all who knew him. From a young age, he taught himself to play the guitar and was a member of a local Seattle rock band, which opened for some well-known names during its short-lived success. His creativity and talent extended beyond visual art, leaving an indelible mark on other musicians who personally knew him.
In addition to his artistic and musical pursuits, Jeromy was known for his kindness, wit, and gentle spirit. While he also had the gift to make those around him laugh more often than not, he was a very quiet, reserved and level-headed individual, with a very tight circle of friends who cherished his loyalty and trustworthiness. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and compassion.
Towards the end of his life, Jeromy moved back home with his parents, John and Diane Tyler, to help take care of the property and the house. Unfortunately, when he got sick, he could no longer continue this role.
Jeromy’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving family, including his sister Dawn and his brother Chad, as well as his close friends and all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Though Jeromy’s time with us was cut short, his legacy as an artist, musician, friend, and beloved family member will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who were touched by his life.
