John Patrick “Pat” Slack Jr.

March 4th 1948 – June 13th 2023

Pat slack was born to Aletha and John Slack Sr. on March 4th
1948. He was one of 2 children born to the couple. During his
lifetime he accomplished many things, from graduating high
school, to getting married to his high school sweetheart, to
becoming a father himself, to building his very own log cabin,
becoming a grandfather, and like his father before him a great
grandfather. Pat was an extremely talented wood worker. He
worked at Summit Timber for many years, like his father, he
worked in many a sawmill picking up talents to help further his
wood working skills and building talent. Pat is preceded in death
by his mother (Aletha), his father (John Sr.), his loving wife (Freda
Slack) and his son-in-law (Eric Westom). He leaves behind his
sister Darlene (Leon), his two children Tiha Westom and Cory
Slack (Jennifer), his grandchildren Kaylee (Kat), Kenney (Justine),
Emily, Cooper and Haley, and his great grandchildren Briar and
Hayden. He also leaves behind many other friends and family
who will miss him dearly. If you want to help share memories and
celebrate the life of Pat Slack, please join us at his celebration of
life on July 15 th at 1pm, at 21824 WA-530, Arlington WA 98223
(the old school not the fire station) the event will be a potluck, we
do ask that some people please bring gluten-free dishes as we
have some family members who are gluten sensitive.
