Wednesday May 17th 2023, JR Craig Meehan passed away at just 29 years old. He will be missed for his contagious laugh, his unconditional love for others, his big smile, his unconditional love for the Pittsburgh Steelers, his giving & forgiving heart and so many more beautiful things.
JR was born August 13th 1993 in Arlington, Wa. He graduated from Stanwood High School 2012. JR leaves behind his Son and Best Friend, Andrew Meehan and Buddy Boy, both of whom he loved so very much. He also leaves behind his Mother Michelle Lobdell (Jim Grannell) His Father Morgan Meehan (Tana Bradley) his Brother Lane and Sister Grace His Grandmother Rita Meehan and His Nana Mary and Papa David Nations, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, so many extended family members and friends.
Our lives will never be the same without him. He will live on through his sweet Son who misses him terribly. He is preceded in death by his Grandpa John Fawley SR and Grandpa Thomas Meehan His Best Friend Andrew Thomas.
Celebration of Life will be held on July 23rd at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 20618 Jim Creek Road in Arlington, WA 98223. Refreshments and finger foods to follow at the same location. Please think about a special memory you have with or about JR that you can share.

I never realized he was almost exactly 10years to the day younger then me… Close but not quite lol.. what I did know of him and from everything I’ve ever heard about him..he was nothing short of down right amazing! You brought him right and loved him with everything in you so be proud and hold on to that… And you know that boy would’ve done anything in his power to not hurt you or his little man or his dog.. there must be a higher purpose for him… It’s the only explanation… If you need anything at all day or night call me… I will see you soon 💋
