Larry D. Moe November 21, 2024

Larry D. Moe passed away at home while surrounded by family on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 66. He was born to Ruth and Raymond Moe on March 30, 1956, in Everett, WA and was raised in Arlington, WA.

He was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, and grandpa. He was survived by his wife Ronda Moe; children Jody Moe, Jason Moe, Bradley Palitz, Amanda Bond and 9 grandchildren; sisters Sharron Knutson, Betty VanEpps, Jeanne White and brothers, Bill Moe, and Danny Moe. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Sandra (Dave) Hegwald.

As a teenager he worked at the Pilchuck Tree Farm setting chokers, building roads and planting trees among other things. His love for the outdoors and working hard brought him to work for Northwest Hardwoods for almost 30 years driving heavy machinery, specifically the 988F Front Loader and Laternal.

When not at work, he loved spending time with family and tinkering on EVERYTHING mechanical including cars, motor bikes, lawn mowers, tractors…etc. He was the person that liked to strike up a conversation with anyone anywhere, just to make them smile. He would also tell some of the best stories or as we liked to call them, “big fish stories” because everything was always exaggerated in the best way.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 27th, 2022, at Pioneer Hall in Arlington at 1:00pm.
