Michael James Straughen was born to Grace & Kenneth Straughen on October 9th, 1959 in La Jolla, California. He passed away unexpectedly on June 16th, 2019 in Lake Stevens, Washington.
Michael served in the Air Force from 1981-1990 and received many outstanding awards for his accomplishment throughout his 8 year career.
Michael finished his career in aviation thru Bombardier, Learjet in Wichita Kansas.
Michael enjoyed the outdoors and was passionate about airplanes, traveling, fishing, hunting, camping, cowboy shoot competitions, and spending time with his family.
Michael will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all that knew him.
Michael is survived by his mother Grace Straughen and his 3 siblings Darlene, David and Diana.
The family will have a private celebration in their home.
