Mrs. Roselain Isaman (Murphy), Beloved Wife, Mother, and Artist, Passes Away at 83
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Roselain Isaman, who left this world on September 6th, 2024, at the age of 83. Born November 27th, 1941, she was known affectionately as simply “Nana” by many and “Rose” by her devoted late husband, James Isaman.
Rosie was a cherished presence in the lives of her many family and friends. Her legacy is carried on by her loving children, James Isaman Jr. and Roselain Maag (Isaman), whom she adored with all her heart. She is also survived by her siblings Cora Evans (Murphy) and Edward Murphy, her 7 grandchildren and her 16 great grandchildren (and counting). Rosie was always a pillar of unwavering support for those she loved.
A woman of incredible artistic talent, Rosie’s creative spirit shone brightly through her masterful expressions in painting and design. Amongst her many other passions, she found great joy in gardening, flower arranging, and the art of cooking, with her famous mashed potatoes being a favorite among those fortunate enough to sit at her table. A gracious hostess, she welcomed loved ones into her home sharing everything she had with open arms, creating lasting memories through meals and shared conversation.
As we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, I hope we will also celebrate the enduring beauty of Roselain’s life, a life filled with love, creativity, and generosity. We pray the memories of her life continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her, and that her memory be a source of comfort and solace in the days ahead.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of our beloved Roselain on Saturday, September 28th at 1:00pm at Forward Church Mukilteo 4424 Chennault Beach Road, Mukilteo WA 98275.
