Sten Salatelis went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 2, 2024. He passed away peacefully after a long battle with kidney disease, while singing “Awesome God” with his loving wife, Linda, by his side.
Sten was born June 26,1962, in Vancouver BC, to George and Despina Salatelis, who migrated to Canada from Antissa, Lesvos, Greece. He graduated from Kitsilano High School in 1980. After high school, he attended college to become a draughtsman. Sten then pursued a career in trucking, transporting goods all over North America.
Sten moved to America and married his wife, Linda, in 2006. He pursued a career in Real Estate, and eventually opened up his own sign business, Sten’s Signs.
Sten is loved by many friends and family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Linda; his mother, Despina; his sister, Yota (David); his beautiful nieces, Georgia and Alannah, six stepchildren, and ten step-grandchildren. Sten was preceded in death by his father, George Salatelis.
In his younger years, Sten spent time as a Baseball Coach, a Cub Scout leader, and raced bikes in the Velodrome. He loved the Lord Jesus, was a talented musician, a skilled woodworker, and he loved to watch WWE. He played “Sten-O-Clause” every year at local restaurants, and establishments throughout Washington State.
A funeral service will be held June 29, 2024, at 2:00pm located at:
